Artist Statement:

I have been exploring basic questions such as what is Home, and where is Home, as well as how the personal concept of home changes through time, through the lenses of memory and displacement, adulthood and parenthood, community and isolation. And whether or not the H in home should be capitalized.  I have been interested in language within this series of work,  particularly alphabets, exploring language as both an alienating and a uniting force between people, communities, cultures, countries.
