Artist Statement:

Two of these sculpture pieces (Horn and Picker) were conceived and created 12 years ago and then sat and sat and sat... a sort of artistic gestation period. Over time, I found myself continuously going back to these two pieces. I enjoy the beautiful awkward and the effectiveness of the different materials, the possibilities and improbabilities of their functions, and the power of their imagery. Incased in glass they become treasured relics from a time long lost, adding to their mystic.
