Artist Statement:

I am in a constant process for expression that is authentic and uniquely my own.  My self expression flows from a response to both my internal and external world.  The repeated use of symbols serve as a tool to express ideas and emotions.  They are a way for me to represent relationships and situations metaphorically.  My internal world is expressed through shapes and colors that in turn reflect my feelings. The work mirrors society's gyrations between issues of freedom and containment.
